Naturally, this is the place for water sports enthusiasts. Suppen, fish, swim, canoe, windsurf or go out in a boat. It is all possible. The area, which consists of water, dykes, mills and dunes, is also great to discover by bike. If you like the sea, go to the sea beaches of Castricum or Egmond aan Zee. We also recommend a visit to the beautiful Alkmaar. Alkmaar is known for its cheese market, order a cheeseboard and glass of Heineken somewhere and appreciate the Netherlands.
