Next to the park is a cosy restaurant where you can have a coffee or a bite to eat. Stevensweert is an old fortified town and has a beautiful centre with many unique elements. It is one of the most beautiful villages in Limburg. It lies on an island formed by the arms of the Meuse and is therefore also called so. In the former town hall you will find the regional museum , another monumental building is the eighteenth-century Sint Stephanuskerk. Spend a day sunbathing on Stevensweert beach, visit the harbour or go play with the children in OERRR play nature Hompesche Molen. There is something for everyone here
