The area also offers exciting activities for the whole family, such as tobogganing, summer toboggan runs, and paragliding. An aeroplane flight over the glacier, the mountains and the valley is also one of the possibilities from Zell am See airport. In summer, besides several swimming pools, the natural/swimming lake in Niedernsill is a great place to swim. This lake also offers many play-attributes for both older and smaller children. Mittersill also has a swimming lake and padel and tennis courts. With the local train that runs between Zell am See and Krimml, you can reach the largest waterfalls in Europe, the Krimml waterfalls, which of course can also be reached by car. In Kaprun you can walk through a beautiful gorge, the Sigmund Thun Klamm, with waterfalls, which can also be visited in the evening and is then illuminated.
